The Story in the Name
Amberhill Estates is built on strong foundations.
The name comes from my first home in Amberhill, Lincolnshire, where a striking grade-listed windmill stood proudly in the garden. More than a building, it was a symbol of endurance and purpose, standing tall through generations, its intricate inner workings turning to produce a successful harvest.
That windmill has always stayed with me. Its resilience, precision, and ability to create lasting value are the same principles that guide Amberhill Estates today. We believe in building with integrity, working with care, and creating something that stands the test of time.

My Story
Matt Richardson - Director
Matt has spent his last 25 years in land acquisitions, and before setting up Amber Hill Estates he worked as Land Director for Bluecrest Land for 4.5 years.
Previous to that as board member for a high-end care home provider, where he was responsible for the acquisition and project management of several significant sites across the South East. He has been Land Director for regional developers where he was successful with planning on sites totalling upto 500 dwellings. In his career Matt has achieved planning for 2,000 plus units with a gross development value of more than £600m.
Matt is closely engaged in emerging local and national planning policy and enjoys formulating acquisition and promotion strategies to capitalise on planning opportunities in the South East region. He is passionate about the social and infrastructure benefits that well-planned strategic land development can deliver.
Away from the office, Matt is a single handicap golfer, a keen follower of football and cricket, has a passion for travel and is a doting Grandpa.
